sight.
This may be the first time you have
ever heard of an Ocularist and are unaware of what
type of services he or she provides. An Ocularist
is the person who will custom fit and supply a patient
with an artificial eye or scleral shell to replace
a missing eye or conceal a blind, shrunken eye (“phthisical” eye).
Thomas N. Johnson is the Ocularist at
Florida Ocular Prosthetics, Inc. and his main goal is
to provide you with the best service related to your
ocular prosthesis in order to help improve your quality
of life. He is entirely responsible for all patient
care, fitting techniques and the artistic coloring and
design of each prosthetic eye.
The initial adjustment to losing an
eye can be quite traumatic but we stand by our promise
to make you as comfortable as possible during this stressful
time. Mr. Johnson wishes to help everyone in need
of ocular prosthetic care, adults and children alike. Mr.
Johnson also makes house calls to nursing homes, assisted
living, and individuals who are unable to travel to one
of our offices. |
